Support
Raidio streams private, instrumental generative radio from an Apple Silicon Mac to an iPhone over the same local network.
Requirements
- iPhone running iOS 17 or later
- Apple Silicon Mac on the same trusted Wi-Fi network
- Raidio service and Magenta RealTime 2 Small model assets installed on the Mac
Connect your iPhone
- Start the Raidio service on the Mac.
- Connect the Mac and iPhone to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Open Raidio and allow Local Network access when prompted.
- Wait for automatic discovery, or enter the Mac address or hostname in Settings and choose Use Manual Address.
Troubleshooting
- If the app remains on Looking for your Mac, confirm that the service is running and both devices are on the same network.
- Guest Wi-Fi, client isolation, VPNs, and some managed networks can block Bonjour discovery or local traffic.
- If automatic discovery fails, use the Mac's local IP address or hostname in Settings.
- Raidio's current generator is instrumental. Voice & Lyrics are not available.
